Who Am I?
I’m an introvert, an artist, a writer, a bad singer, a bad cook, a pretty decent baker, slightly obsessed with succulents, and — most importantly — I’m a follower of Jesus Christ and redeemed by His grace alone. My testimony isn’t what most would call exciting, but it’s mine. And because of what God has shown me through it and how He has changed me and brought me closer to Him, it’s exciting to me.
I was born and raised — and currently live — in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I’m married to Matt, and like many others, we have a pretty great “2020 COVID-19 wedding” story. There ended up being huge blessings through it all, and we’ll have stories to tell for years to come.
Back when I was young and single (ha!), I graduated college with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies and currently have a lovely “grown-up” job. And although that’s how I make my living, one thing remains the same — I love to write.
And as I look for those moments, I record them in this blog — to share with others, and to remind even myself. I’ve been blessed over and over again by other people’s stories about how God taught them something profound in the midst of the everyday and mundane. So I write in the hopes that maybe one of my stories can do that for someone else.
So thanks for tagging along. I hope we can be a blessing to one another.
